In the context of a strong shift in labor structure from rural areas to service industries and industrial
production at present, the number of workers in the agricultural sector has decreased significantly. The
mechanization of maize production in the Northern mountainous region in general and in Lang Son, Son
La, Yen Bai, etc. in particular is still low, the rate of mechanization in the stages is not equal, especially
in the care. Harvesting due to lack of proper procedures, current machinery and equipment systems are
mainly small, imported and designed to suit the terrain and soil conditions in the delta areas. Therefore,
the study of models suitable for each condition of paddy, slope and area is considered as a solution to
reduce labor, increase income, and improve the life of maize growers. The article shows the research results showing that initially models such as underground plowing, milling, sowing, tending etc. meet the
requirements of growing maize in the Northern Midlands and Mountains region.
